Best Beginning is a free supportive health service for pregnant women and pregnant teens who:

  • Need information and support to make healthy choices during pregnancy

  • Feel alone and isolated

  • Face language or cultural barriers

  • Are living on a low income

We offer:

  • Support from social workers, nurses, dietitians, and outreach workers

  • Group health education and peer support

  • Children's programming (1-6 yrs)

  • Healthy snacks and time to connect with other pregnant women

  • Connection to community and health resources

  • Community and Health Resources

Free in-person and online group session are available for Best Beginning clients. Participants will meet other parents and Best Beginning staff to talk about pregnancy, birth and parenting.

Sessions take place in-person on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:00 – 2:30pm, and through Zoom every  Thursday from 10:00 – 11:30am
